A Whole New Adventure

It has been a long time since my Disney posts but I'm pleased to see they are still being enjoyed and helping those of you who are about to go out there!

Firstly I want to tie up the loose ends from my previous post about returning to DisneyWorld as a Cultural Rep.  Believe it or not, I actually turned it down.  You're probably wondering what on earth would make a Disney freak like me say no to a whole year in this magical place.  Well... I met a boy.  It was a really tough decision but in the end I figured why move all the way to DisneyWorld when I already had my Prince Charming here?  Rather predictably, we are no longer together.  But our breakup sparked off a new adventure that I am about to embark on, and I get the feeling it's something a lot of you might be interested in - so I'm going to share it here.

I have am going off on a bucket list adventure.  I have made a list of all the things I want to do, see, achieve and experience and I'm going off on a trip around the world to do them.  This includes a whole category of Disney related things and I will be sure to get all the best bits of our favourite place!  I will be continuing to vlog and blog over on this address -

which will be launching in the next few days.  It would mean the world to me if you guys would continue to follow what I'm up to on there, and I promise you won't be disappointed!

So for the last time (at least, on this page) - Have a Magical Day!

I'm coming baaaaack!!!

Great news!

I'm coming back to Disney!  And this time for a full year!

I feel so lucky to be given the opportunity to go back, especially after I had to leave early from my ICP in 2011 - so this time I'll be making the most of it!  I will be flying out there on the 9th July this year until 4th July 2014.

Since I last posted on here, I have just been working away on my cake and catering company, SnuggleMuffin.  I now have 7 months to get it running smoothly so it will be nice and stable without me for a whole year.  Challenge accepted!

Lots of exciting stuff to come so look out for more of these posts!

Merry Christmas - and an Update

Hi everyone,

So you may have noticed that I kind of dropped off the radar.
Unfortunately, this is not for the same reason as most - it was not because I was too busy with all the loads of fun I was having, I actually ended up having to self terminate because of some family issues back home.

Anyway, I've been home for quite some time now and although i am glad to be back and enjoying living in Glasgow again, I have been thinking a lot about Disney the last few weeks and have one overwhelming feeling:  I really, really  miss it!

I was looking forward to doing the programme for a lot of different reasons - but the things I miss the most are things which I did not anticipate, mostly the whole atmosphere and the sense of community amongst the cast members.

The Walt Disney World Resort really does have a sort of magic to it, that is not just for children, the atmosphere when you walk through the front gate is unlike anything else, or anywhere else in the world.
Also, the fellow cast members, particularly others on the college programme really do feel like family.  I met people in the few months I was there that I know will be friends for the rest of my life.  There is a real sense of community amongst the cast members and you feel as if you can easily just walk up and start chatting to anyone, even if you have never met them before.

So these two things combined are what I really miss about Disney, and unfortunately they are things that cannot be experienced by just having a holiday at Disney World.  So there is only one thing for it...

Going Back.

I am going to apply to go back in 2013, straight after I graduate.  I might have a bit of difficulty with this as I did self terminate but hopefully I can get another chance to go back and do all the stuff that I missed out on this year.  I feel like I didn't get to experience everything I had hoped for, for a mixture of reasons, so I want to do it right this time.

I couldn't go back in 2012 as I have to do a certain kind of internship during that summer, but hopefully 2013 will see me returning to DisneyWorld.  It is not easy watching many of my friends going through the process of booking their flights and getting excited for ICP 2012, but there are some advantages to going in 2013, firstly I will be 21, during my last programme I was only 19.  Secondly, the new Fantasyland should hopefully be open by this time, so that will be great to see.

Anyway have a lovely Christmas everyone and best of luck for the new year :)
